Shari Eberts is a passionate advocate and internationally recognized author and speaker on hearing loss issues. She is the founder of LivingWithHearingLoss.com , a popular blog and online community for people with hearing loss, and an executive producer of We Hear You, an award-winning documentary about the hearing loss experience. Her book, Hear & Beyond: Live Skillfully with Hearing Loss, (co-authored with Gael Hannan) is the ultimate survival guide to living well with hearing loss. Shari has an adult-onset genetic hearing loss and hopes that by sharing her story, she will help others to live more peacefully with their own hearing issues. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Psychology from Duke University.
 The Shedd’s Center for Hearing Access presents we hear you - NOW|HEAR US, a groundbreaking one-hour documentary about hearing loss and its pervasive invisibility as told through the experiences of prominent advocates living with severe hearing loss. Join executive producer Shari Eberts for a public showing of the film, followed by a free-ranging “question and answer” session. Family members and friends are strongly encouraged to attend as well. WHITE HOUSE QUIETLY FLOATS MILLIONAIRE TAX HIKE PROPOSAL IN CONGRESS AS GOP LEADERS SIGNAL OPPOSITION
Republicans are discussing ways to pay for Trump's new tax policies.  White House aides are quietly floating a proposal within the House GOP that would raise the tax rate for people making more than $1 million to 40%, two sources familiar with discussions told Fox News Digital, to offset the cost of eliminating tips on overtime pay, tipped wages, and retirees' Social Security.  The sources stressed the discussions were only preliminary, and the plan is one of many being talked about as congressional Republicans work on advancing President Donald Trump's agenda via the budget reconciliation process.  Trump and his White House have not yet taken a position on the matter, but the idea is being looked at by his aides and staff on Capitol Hill.

Judge blocks Trump from revoking legal status for 530,000+ migrants who flew into US via Biden program.  The migrants came into the United States from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela through the controversial CHNV mass humanitarian parole program.  A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from revoking the legal status and work permits of the more than 530,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela who flew into the United States during former President Joe Biden's time in office. The migrants came to the U.S. under Biden's controversial controversial CHNV mass humanitarian parole program.  In her order, Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, wrote that each migrant needs to have an individualized, case-by-case review.  "The Termination of Parole Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans, 90 Fed. Reg. 13611 (Mar. 25, 2025), is hereby STAYED pending further court order insofar as it revokes, without case-by-case review, the previously granted parole and work authorization issued to noncitizens paroled into the UnitedStates pursuant to parole programs for noncitizens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (the "CHNV parole programs") prior to the noncitizen’s originally stated parole end date," she wrote.
