Penny was found on the streets as a stray in CA. In the shelter, she was very shut down. She has come a long way in her foster home. Penny is a super smart, very sweet, extremely energetic girl. She would love to be a herding dog. She loves to run and runs fast. She would also make a great adventure dog or agility dog after she gets some training. Penny needs a home with a large backyard and a very active, in charge person/family who can give her a lot of mental and physical exercise and keep her reactivity under control. She is very smart and fairly easy to train. She knows sit, come, leave it, quiet, and is house trained.
Penny absolutely loves her foster's dog pool. When she is not running around, she follows her foster around the house and loves to climb into her foster’s lap for some good snuggles, and she is not shy with the kisses. She plays well with other dogs and is working on sharing lap time with her foster's dogs. It’s recommended she not be in a home with cats due to her wanting to chase and nip at them. Penny does have separation anxiety which shows up as possessiveness over her favorite owner. She needs a family who can be in charge & patient with her and take the time, along with training, to help her work through her anxiety.
Penny may be okay with older kids who could handle her energy. Young children are not recommended at this time.

This morning,we released a regulatory impact study conducted by a third party showing that Oregon is the seventh most heavily regulated state in the nation. Asregulations increase, the study found, business and job creation decrease and prices rise for consumers. I’m sure I’m not telling you anything you don’t know.
