Aren't I hadsome!!!  My name is Buddy and I'm about 2 1/2 years old and a German Shepherd.  I had been in a foster home in Fresno for over a year before I got the chance to travel to Oregon and, paws crossed,  find my perfect furever home!! Buddy is such a joy!  He does great with dogs of all sizes and has not bothered any of the animals on the farm.  Buddy is housebroken and sleeps quietly in his crate at night.  He shares the food bowls easily and has shown no aggressive behaviors.  Buddy has wonderful house manners and would do well in any home.  He will need a yard to play in or, even better, property to roam!  If you are looking for a loving, loyal companion, come meet this fantastic boy and give him the furever he deserves!!
 
Our adoptions include ALL DAPP to complete the series of puppy vaccines (has to be done through main Street Spay neuter), Rabies (when old enough has to be done through Main Street Spay neuter), spay/Neuter, Microchipping (registration included), flea treatment, and deworming treatment.

 new season of Shark Tank. ..season 17 premier Wed Sept 24th on ABCRashaun Williams is founder and chief investment officer of Harbinger Sports Partners, and Guest Shark on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” He is also a limited partner with the Atlanta Falcons and has over 170 investments under his belt with over 50 exits.
Williams is the founder of his family office, Value Investment Group, and was a general partner in the MVP All-Star Fund. He co-founded venture capital fund Queensbridge Venture Partners, where he was an early investor in companies like Robinhood, Coinbase, Casper, Ring, PillPack, Lyft, and Dropbox. In May 2025, he launched Harbinger Sports Partners (HSP)—a $750 million private equity fund to invest in U.S. professional sports teams — alongside Mark Cuban and Steve Cannon.
An expert in illiquid secondaries, he started his career at Wall Street firms such as Goldman Sachs, Wachovia Securities, and Deutsche Bank doing over-the-counter fixed income. That inspired his journey into illiquid secondaries in venture capital and now pro sports teams.
In 2007, he founded Dixsville Partners, a private equity fund investing in infrastructure development and mineral companies in West Africa.
With a passion for financial literacy and entrepreneurship, Williams founded the Kemet Institute in 2001, a nonprofit focused on providing free financial literacy, entrepreneurship and life skills classes to underserved communities and schools.

SCHUMER ACCUSES TRUMP OF EXPLOITING CHARLIE KIRK'S DEATH TO LAUNCH POLITICAL WITCH HUNT
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., accused President Donald Trump of exploiting the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in order to go after critics. Schumer’s charge came as Senate Democrats teed up legislation called the "No Political Enemies Act," which would prohibit Trump and his administration from weaponizing government agencies. It comes in the wake of late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel’s sidelining by ABC over comments he made related to Kirk. The top Senate Democrat said freedom of speech is "one of the great hallmarks of our country" but that the Trump administration "is trying to snuff it out." Democrats’ legislation would prevent the administration from using agencies like the Justice Department, FBI and the IRS from going after people for criticizing the government, according to a one-page description of the bill. It would also hold officials accountable for using their office to go after critics, ensure courts quickly dismiss "abusive actions," and provide due process for U.S. nonprofits that the government tries to "label as criminal or terrorist organizations."

Kelsea Collum - Usher Syndrome

Saturday, September 20th is Usher Syndrome Awareness Day. A day to bring awareness to a syndrome that most have never even heard of. Usher syndrome is rare, affecting only 3-6 people out of every 100,000 worldwide. Usher syndrome is the leading genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness. Currently, a treatment nor a cure exist. Before January 22nd, I was like many of you and had never heard of Usher syndrome. Our son, Cade, was born with bilateral moderate to moderate-severe sensorineural hearing loss. He was diagnosed at just one month old and without any family history of hearing loss, a medical workup was indicated. After a negative infectious disease workup, we turned to genetic testing. After a month-long wait for the results, we got the call. The call that altered the course of our lives forever. On January 22nd, 2025, Cade was diagnosed with Usher syndrome type 2A. The silver lining of Cade’s diagnosis is that his hearing loss shouldn’t worsen and should remain stable throughout his lifetime. But, by the time Cade reaches his 30s, he will likely be severely visually impaired or even, blind.
