FBI TO HELP LOCATE AWOL TEXAS LAWMAKERSThe FBI will now be involved in the efforts to track down and return more than 50 Democratic lawmakers who left the state earlier this month in a legislative coup. Texas Democrats left their state amid a special session of the state legislature, attempting block a Republican backed a vote to approve their new Congressional map... The move by Democratic state lawmakers prevented a quorum and blocking the vote from proceeding. The re-districting within the Texas would give the G-O-P a five-seat advantage in Congress, something President Trump wants to see before the 20-26 midterm elections. Many lawmakers who have fled the state went to liberal leaning states like New York, Massachusetts, California, and Illinois - where Democratic governors have offered refuge and support for what they feel is an effort to prevent democracy. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has authorized the arrest of any legislatures who have fled and pointed to the State constitution which could allow for their removal from office. The governor remains critical of the lawmakers who fled, claiming their absence is impeding aid for those affected by recent flooding events. The FBI involvement comes as Sen. John Cornyn of Texas announced last Thursday that the FBI granted his request for assistance to find those who left to stall the vote, calling it a “ shameful attempt to thwart the legislative process." Democrats have pushed back against the claims that the FBI is now involved calling for the agency to stepdown – with House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries taking to social media, accusing the Trump Administration of targeting democrats and weaponizing law enforcement. How has the FBI assisted so far? Do they have jurisdiction to bring Democratic lawmakers back to the State Capitol to move a vote forward? How are blue states responding, and will this trigger a larger push for redistricting across the country?Politics & Leadership Expert, DAN SNELL

Heather Lisle - Gen Z Lying

SURVEY: NEARLY HALF OF GEN Z ADMITS TO LYING ON JOB APPLICATIONSNew survey data indicates that one in four job applicants has lied, exaggerated or provided inaccurate information on their applications in some way, shape or form — and Gen Z leads the trend. The findings from career.io — a career services platform — indicate nearly half (approximately 47%) of the age group admitted to falsifying some aspect of their job applications to fit the mold they think employers are looking for, followed by 38.5% of millennials, 20.4% of Gen Xers and 9.4% of baby boomers. A spreadsheet detailing the survey data, provided to Fox News Digital, indicates that a majority of zoomers (slang for Gen Z) lied in key areas such as “work experience” (22.97%), and job “responsibilities” (28.38%), with “job title” coming in third at 17.57%. The large percentages indicate some survey participants falsified more than one area of their job applications. Across all generations, “work experience” and “responsibilities” ranked the highest out of all falsified categories, but to a lesser degree than zoomers. Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC) Amanda Augustine told Fox News Digital the prevailing reason for the falsehoods is that young applicants with limited experience are desperate to make a good first impression and get their foot in the door.

Brendan Steinhauser - 2028 President?

TRUMP SAYS VP VANCE WOULD BE 'PROBABLY FAVORED' FOR 2028 GOP PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION
Trump was at the South Court Auditorium where he signed an executive order to create a 2028 Los Angeles Olympics task force when senior Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked him if Vance was likely to become the face of the Make America Great Again movement after noting the president said he wouldn't be running for a third term. Trump noted that Secretary of State Marco Rubio could team up with Vance to create a formidable ticket. The president also said others in his Cabinet could possibly lead the MAGA movement. Trump and some of his allies have previously floated the idea of him running for a third term, which is constitutionally prohibited. Rubio ran against Trump during the 2016 primary but has since positioned himself as a Trump ally. Last month, Rubio dismissed speculation that he could be the Republican Party’s 2028 presidential nominee. Instead, he threw support behind Vance. "I think JD Vance would be a great nominee if he decides he wants to do that," Rubio said during an interview with Lara Trump that aired on the Fox News Channel.
