New Owners of Euphoria Chocolate the company has been purchased by Shane and Casey Meisel, who bring both personal passion and professional experience to Euphoria!s next era. Founded in 1980 by Bob Bury, Euphoria Chocolate quickly became a regional favorite, synonymous with quality, craftsmanship, and community. Generations of Oregonians have marked holidays, celebrations, and milestones with Euphoria!s signature chocolates. For new owner Shane Meisel, Euphoria!s story is deeply personal. "Growing up in Eugene, Euphoria was our family!s special treat,” said Meisel. "My mom would surprise us with chocolate hearts on Valentine!s Day or truffles for big milestone, a chocolate Santa in our stockings at Christmas. It!s a brand that!s woven into so many local memories — mine included.” A graduate of South Eugene High School and the University of Oregon, Meisel has returned to his hometown with his wife Casey, a Hillsboro native whose career in consumer experience and sales operations at Nike and Columbia Sportswear will help guide the company!s next phase of growth. "Euphoria represents so much of what makes Eugene special — creativity, connection, and joy,” said Casey. "We!re honored to carry that forward and share these incredible chocolates with new generations of Oregonians.” Under the Meisels !#leadership, Euphoria will continue to build on its strong reputation for quality and community connection while exploring opportunities to grow and reach even more chocolate lovers across Oregon and beyond. "I have been reminiscing to Casey for years about running in the winter just for a free truffle. Euphoria Chocolate can!t wait to celebrate this sweet tradition, and have some friendly fun on the course,” said Shane Meisel.
