First Story’s mission is to address the affordable housing crisis in the Northwest. First Story uses an integrated approach to affordable housing by giving individuals a hand up to home ownership while encouraging inclusivity.
As the Northwest continues to face a critical shortage of affordable home ownership opportunities, First Story is inviting eligible families in the Albany area to apply for a newly remodeled Fresh Start home in the Hayden Homes Albany Heights community. The first eligible household to apply will be selected for this life-changing opportunity in 2026.
