VAGUS NERVE STIMULATION MAY RELIEVE TREATMENT-RESISTANT DEPRESSION, STUDY FINDS
The US Food and Drug Administration had just approved VNS in 2005 for the long-term adjunctive treatment of chronic or recurrent depression in adults who had had inadequate responses to at least four antidepressant treatments.
